Conventionally, FM/AM tuners are constructed at least with three Ics, ie FMIF, AM and MPX. We developed AN7001, integrating all of those functions in one chip to achieve high quality addition optimizing cost and external parts. The package is 28 pin DIP IC with fin, and chip size is about 11 mm squared constituting about 600 elements.
