For a given driver and performance target, this program calculates the system performance and horn data from the known Thiele-Small driver parameters and a lossless lumped-constant analogous model. The characteristics computed include upper cutoff frequency, system efficiency, lower cutoff frequency, throat area, volume of the chambers in front of and behind the driver, displacement-limited power input and acoustic output in watts, horn length, mouth area and horn exponent. Realizations of this program are presented in listings for the Hewlett-Packard 67 and 97 calculators and for Texas Instrument 59 calculators.
