Listening to disk recordings from 1957 to the present convinced me that there are significant flaws in current recordings. The causes include: Performance in a poor concert hall, poor monitor speakers, multi-microphone multitrack recording, processing techniques, TIM in the recording consoles, and TIMin the cutting lathes. These same problems will degrade digital recordings if not diagnosed and cured.
