The Role of the Initial Time Delay Gap in the Acoustic Design of Control Rooms for Recording and Reinforcement Systems

Energy Time Curve (ETC) measurements are used to analyze the reproduction of the initial time delay gap of a studio or auditorium in a control room of a smaller dimension than the studio or auditorium. It will be shown how 'unmasked' reproduction without interference from the acoustics of the smaller room.
