The FRAP system of picking up acoustical musical instruments with an extremely high degree of isolation meets professional recording studio standards. One transducer can be used for many different kinds of instruments and switched from instrument to instrument or position to position with easily removable FRAP wax. How this is done, as well as recording examples of different instruments, will be discussed.
