Basic feedback principles supposedly well known are often not properly utilized. This paper reviews eight types of amplifier feedback and explains input and output impedance tailoring. In particular, it will be shown how two feedback types combined can set output impedance to a particular value, e.g. 600 ohms, without using swing-limiting 600 ohm series or shunt resistors.
