Audio Frequency Applications of Integrated Circuit Analog Delay Lines

Document Thumbnail

Integrated circuit analog delay lines can now be used for signal processing at audio frequencies without encoutering the cost limitations imposed by the sampling theorem. Both fixed and variable time delays can be applied. Multiple delays with tape after each delay can be used in both recursive and non-recursive (transversal filter) applitations. Specific audio applications include all-pass networks for artificial reverberation, and comb filters for phasing (flanging) units.
