New Improvements in Audio Signal Processing for AM Broadcasting
A new way of audio processing (amplitude and phase) will be described, which gives an increase of 6 dB in the radiated energy with reference to the conventional system (compressor-limiter), and allows coverage of twice the distance with the same transmission set. We will analyze the energy graphic plots measured in the laboratory and the experiences found under actual conditions in Argentina.
