A Technique for Observing Loudspeaker Wave Front Propagation

Document Thumbnail

The impulse responses at 3000 points in a plane through the maJ axis of a loudspeaker are measured and stored. The data is then processed and converted to visual representation at 10 microsecond intervals. The resulting display is photographed sequentially for observation of wavefront motion away from the loudspeaker.
