Dukane has been making acoustic measurements for the last ten years. These measurements deal mainly with the larger speaker assemblies and horns. A short history of the various set-ups tried and the problems encountered may help others who may be contemplating making similar tests. The author will also discuss some tests for determining horn parameters and the correlation of this data into large sound system designs and their field performance. This paper will be illustrated with slides.
