Transmission characteristics of cutter heads were measured by pulse-train methods, and their non-minimum-phase characteristics were examined by Hilbert transform methods. Results show that their transmission characteristics are minimum-phase within the frequency range of normal motivational feedback operation and non-minimum phase above that range.
