Design Problems of High Level Cone Loudspeakers

To produce large acoustic power output with acceptable quality, a cone speaker must combine high efficiency, high power capacity, and freedom from distortion and spurious noises. Analysis of speaker operation shows that this set of performance goals imposes many difficult and often conflicting requirements upon the designer.
