Comparison Between Objective Headphone Measurements on Couplers and Measurements with Probe Microphone on the Ear

Document Thumbnail

The response curves of four typical headphones on couplers will be confronted with actual curves, measured with a probe microphone at the ear entrance. A coupler adapter which reproduces the outer ear and could be mounted at the coupler B & K 5143, will be described. It will be shown, that by use of this coupler adapter the measuring differences could be reduced. Actual text of paper is in German.
