An extremely stable and accurate Ø-H meter has been designed for digitally displaying magnetic characteristics of recording media. Saturated (ØSat) and remanence (ØRem) flux is read out in maxwells and coercivity (Hc) in oersteds. The instrument, in operation for 100 days, has drifted less than its noise level. This paper presents the techniques which achieve this stability and operating convenience.
