Some Considerations About Improvement of the Performance of Cassette Tape Recorders

The characteristics and facilities of cassette tape recorders have improved remarkably in the years since Philips licensed the utilization of certain patents concerning cassette tape recorders in 1965. This report describes tone quality improvements on a cassette deck, particularly with respect to modulation noise, noise in playback amplifiers and heads, and tape motion.
