The transparent recording technique, aiming for a separation of adjacent sound groups, demands certain acoustics in the dance-music studio. These acoustics are characterized by short reverberation times, the avoidance of first reflection, and the reduction of the sound level with increasing distance.: The effect of acoustic conditions of recording techniques and on the playing of the musicians will be discussed here.
