Theoretical Influences Caused by Geometrical Errors in Magnetic Tapes and Recording Heads

In this paper the author shows - through the medium of geometric measurements of the cross-section of various recording heads and recording tapes - positive elements which can cause lack of contact between magnetic tapes and recording heads or playback heads, allowing changes to take place in the purity of signals recorded.
