A piezoelectric high frequency range loudspeaker is a current state-of-the-art transducer with unique capabilities. It can be judged by its performance as well as its unusual construction. Replacing a permanent magnet (dynamic) speaker with its piezo cousin and mating the new device to an amplifier is a simple process which has many advantages.
