This paper deals with an amplifier/loudspeaker three-way system wherein an electromechanical transducer has been applied to the low frequency (woofer) to correct any nonlinearities of cone motion that would affect overall true reproduction. The system's advantages will be discussed via graphs and charts together with the practical approach facing the more sophisticated user of today. Relationships of size, power-handling capability and low-frequency response limits will also be discussed.
