Modular, Transistorized Volume Limiting Amplifier

Document Thumbnail

Over the last six years, our firm, Nelson-Hershfield Electronics Company, has developed a line of modular, transistorized audio components. These components are designed physically in reference to a 2 by 9 inch module and compatible with the standard 19" rack. The most commonly used size is the 4 by 9 inch unit. This unit is a 25 watt amplifier with volume limiting capabilities installed and what we term our CM2 cabinet, meaning -Cabinet-Metal,- with two modules. This particular module can have the microphone inputs that it serves expanded through the use of microphone or signal mixers. The basic 25 watt amplifier is services by two MM4 four microphone mixers which provide facilities for mixing simultaneously and independently.
