In one of the forthcoming issues of the Journal of the Audio Engineering Society, a professional audio recorder will be described in some detail. The recorder has been designed and manufactured in Hungary and is used widely in the Hungarian Radio and Television and in the broadcasting and recording organizations of the neighboring countries. The preamplifier to be described here is a part of this recorder.
