The Putney: A New Generation of Synthesizers

Document Thumbnail

After a period of thirty years, the Putney Synthesizer arrives on the scene to make electronic music a broader-based field. Through the use of integrated circuits, a matrix system of patching, new forms of control, packaging that is miniaturized and self contained, with a modular concept of providing larger installations, the Putney is a practical solution to requirements of schools of all sizes, as well as of the student population. The multi-tack construction and ease of operation now makes live performance a reality.
