A new dimension has been found for the thickness of the music groove area of the Long Playing 12 inch stereo record. The 30 mil thickness instead of 50 provides turbulent mixing during the molding of the record for better groove formation and increases the flexibility of the record for rotational engagement of the record with the turntable. This 90 gram record development is reviewed in full.
