The authors have developed a digital audio disc player based on the Compact Disc Standard. In order to achieve the greatly advanced operational convenience, the large scale visual display and multi-functional random access music programming have been developed. Newly developed optical head, which is installed and mounted into the deck, and signal processing LSIs, servo control Ics and D/A converter are the key devices for our player system.
