Real-Time equalization is achieved in this unit under near feedback conditions. Off-line equalization is accomplished in seconds. Band gains are continuously being adjusted to accommodate a wide range of dynamic frequency spectra. Feedback is suppressed by high Q assignable Notch filters, usually within 50 milliseconds and before the human ear can detect it. An inexpensive 8-Bit Microcomputer controls the system.
