This report describes a study of high-efficiency audio power amplifiers using a voltage swithcing method. The necessity for a high-frequency power amplifier is first discussed, followed by a detailed discussion on power supply, heat dissipation, and the efficiency of power amplifiers of different operational classes. The process of distortion reduction improvement for a voltage switching amplifier is then described, and the practical aspects of the amplifier are discussed in the final paragraphs.
