This paper presents new methods for array analysis which enhance the procedures presented by Uzzle and Sinclair. Equations are given which locate a regular matrix of points thoughout the seating area which are referenced to actual room dimensions. These equations also locate the intersections of the loudspeakers' aiming axes with the seating plane and solve for the articulation loss based upon direct-to-reverberant ratios for these points. The formulas presented readily lend themselves to automated computation with the aid of hand-held programmable calculators.
