Performance of educational amplification systems is discussed specific to the development of measurement standards and observed operational characteristic in classroom settings. In the absence of an American national standard, suggested methods and procedures to obtain electroacoustic data for comparison purposes of FM-wireless systems are reviewed. Emphasis is on consumer protection as related to interpretation and specification of performance data.
