The Compact Disc is on its way, with several digital recording system already in use worldwide and the number of users growing. The latter circumstance has some references to compact-sized digital processors now available, and will be of interest later on. In general, on might say that there now is a first generation of companies and ;studios working partially or completely digitally as far as the recording side is concerned. As digital recording means a totally different technology, we should expect different methods of working with this new medium compared to analog customs.
