A simple procedure is given for constructing multiway active all-pass crossover systems from known two-way alignments. The multiway crossover is realized as a binary tree of two-way crossover pairs with additional phase compensating sections. Phase and group delays of the multiway summed output are found as the sum of the phase and group delays of the component two-ways. Conditions under which the additional phase compensating sections can be deleted are examined. Finally, a subtractive form of the multiway all-pass crossover is given.
