A monolithic integrated circuit is described intended for use in low voltage Dolby B-C type noise reduction applications. The single chip IC design generates both playback and record modes in the voltage range of 1.8 to 8 volts. The IC is suitable for use in portable HIFI cassette player/recorders operating from two or more batteries. All mode and noise reduction type switching is accomplished with internal switches will only logic inputs required.
