A system is described that incorporates a micro-processor to simultaneously control different panning routines for several audio channels. A panning routine for each channel is set by entering a set of parameters through a keypad. These parameters include rate of panning, no. of panning cycles and positions along the L-R plane. A display is also provided to visually monitor the panning sequence. This device is time-saving, yields are accurate and repeatable panning control and allows for new localization effects. A musical demonstration will be given.
