A special reference listening room has been constructed for the Finnish Broadcasting Company. The room will be used for assessing the quality of music recordings and technical equipment, especially loudspeakers, by listening tests. A special feature of the room is its 8-cornered shape. A simple and efficient corner trap construction gives an excellent background surface for free standing loudspeakers. Loudspeakers flushmounted into the wall surface can also be used in the room.
