Interfacing Electronics and Transformers

To achieve reasonable transformer performance a relatively large size and proper impedance matching is required. With special electronic circuit design one can overcome low frequency distortion to minimize transformer size while the ground isolating feature is completed by today's electronic performance, i.e., flat, distortion-free response independent of frequency and impedance matching. Basic problems and design for balanced and unbalanced signals are shown.
