Better Reproduction of Phantom-Sources by Short Time Echoes

Document Thumbnail

Every multichannel reproduction will create phantome sources appearing between the speakers. Unfortunately they are not so clear and distinct like real ones, since they seem to be flat and spread over a bigger area somewhat elevated and near by. This lack of being not clearly defined seems to be influenced by poor bone conducted sound and can be overcome by weak short time echoes. The middle of the scene can easily be detected.
