In multiway loudspeaker systems, the performance characteristics are highly dependent on the crossover network. Therefor, many studies have been performed to develop the most desirable crossovers. In this paper, our major interest is the realization of a new multiway loudspeaker system with a crossover network which simultaneously satisfies 'in-phase' and 'linear-phasse' requirements. According to the results of a simulated design, a four-way system was developed. Hearing tests proved high quality sound reproduction in the multiway system, especially regarding presence and sound image localization.
