An oversampling filter LSI for digital audio has been developed and reported herewith, it is of the 95-Tap FIR type digital filter and has a passband ripple of ±0.01 dB and stopband attenuation of -85 dB. The digital filter was designed and evaluated through computer simulation. The LSI has an additional function of enabling attenuation of digital audio signals and is fabricated using 2 µm CMOS and realizes low power consumption.
