Wave field synthesis in audio applications can be implemented in a straightforward way by driving a line array of loudspeakers. This paper focuses on the control and application of a curved loudspeaker array of any desired shape and consisting of several linear arrays. In this way the geometry of the room is optimally matched, yielding better coverage of the audience and reduction of spatial aliasing.
