A Technique for Improved Performance of Multi-Driver Loudspeaker Arrays Using New Measurement, Modeling and Optimization Processes

Document Thumbnail

Large, multi-driver loudspeaker arrays typically suffer from coverage and response anomalies as a direct result of driver interaction. A new technique has been developed to accurately predict and manage these interactions by tailoring the electrical signal to each driver, thereby optimizing the response of the entire array as a single unit.
