Two Maximal Length Sequence Devices for Measuring Room Acoustics Parameters

Document Thumbnail

Two devices for measuring room impulse responses based on a maximal-length sequence (MLS) Fast Hadamard Transform (FHT) method are described. The first device is based on a custom MLS generator; the second device is based on a commercially available DSP platform. Commonly used room quality measures which were computed from measurements made in a small auditorium are also shown.
