Effective and successful computer-controlled audio system operation is totally dependent on what is implemented behind the computer screens and control panels. This paper presents the various engineering and integrating tasks required to make complicated systems simple to the end user. Several major projects will be utilized to show the magnitude and complexity of the tasks necessary to provide the end users with the functionality needed without subjecting them to the frustrations of complicated operations.
