As network control of audio devices becomes increasingly widespread, the emergence of purpose-built, network-ready devices is inevitable. The initial development of audio network equipment previously has centered around the adaptation of existing products. A new generation of products is explored, using a digitally controlled amplifier as a focal point and model.
