Advanced Digital Signal Processors (DSP) allow the real-time implementation of more complex algorithms. This results in large programs and in time-consuming development. The paper describes a more efficient way from algorithm development to real-time implementation. This method can be used to great advantage, if the basic structure of the algorithm is known.
