Harmonized or -relevant- standards are crucial to the implementation of the EMC Directive1. For products conforming with relevant standards compliance can be claimed with the EMC Directive1. This route to compliance allows manufactures to self-certify their products. In this paper carrying out radiated emission measurements to relevant standards are considered.
