High Resolution Converters-Characterising and Specifying Their Performance

Digital audio uses a well-defined work length and sampling rates, and yet the performance achieved in the A/D converters used is very variable. This paper looks at the main performance parameters of audio A/Ds and what affects them - from the viewpoint of how to specify units and subsequently test them.
