Working with Professional DAT

Until recently, DAT recorders used in the professional environment were based on consumer models. This paper will discuss the development of dedicated professional DAT recorders. Reference will be made to the DAT format and the processes of insert and assemble editing. Mention will also be made of the way in which the performance of DAT recorders may be improved.
