Systems Installations EMC Considerations

Document Thumbnail

The European EMC Directive (89/336/EEC) will affect the development of all electronic systems. To ensure that they will not cause interference to other equipment and will also have an adequate level of immunity, compliance of systems must be demonstrated by testing in accordance with published harmonized standards or by using a technical file. However the test methods defined in existing standards limit the total size and complexity of systems that can be accommodated on normal test sites.
