This paper presents the practical applications of a full audio TV station. It explains, with the aid of slides and tape, the implementation of, and problems encountered with a multi-channel sound environment.: This paper deals with hardware and software systems that had to be developed for stereo as well as second audio program (SAP). We will discuss KTLA's adding a Spanish track to an edited version of -The Love Boat- and how the news is transmitted in both English and Spanish.: This paper takes us on a tour of the KTLA plant itself, and a tape will show excerpts from our finished products.
