AcoustaCADD- is a new addition to the growing list of computer programs oriented specifically towards acoustic design work and sound system and cluster design work. Features previously unavailable to sound system and acoustical designers have been implemented in this 3-D graphics based software package. A -user friendly- system of menus allows the designer to access interlocked modules of analytic, predictive and visualization functions. Evaluation of the performance of loudspeakers in the space is achieved by linking ray tracing methods with projection of distortion free isobar beam outlines on the floor and walls of the space. These methods allow substantial savings in the time required to design complex loudspeaker clusters.
