The determination of features, functions and computational methods to be implemented in a Sound System Design software package requires a logical and organized approach by the software engineer. This paper outlines in detail such an approach using a system of sorting and ranking a list of features and functions using such descriptors as -usability-, -ease of implementation-, -designer need- and -computational speed advantage.-
